Another fun & cozy cat mystery by Leann Sweeney. This is the sort of book I like to read to relax, and it didn’t disappoint. A nice holiday/weekend/feel good read. Protagonist Jillian Hart is always lovely with keeping people’s best interests at heart, especially the dead and their cats. The mystery is solid and ever-present in the story (I hate it when cozy mysteries forget the mystery) and the characters are so well-fleshed out this far into the series that it could really be about real people. Clyde the cat is adorable. I’m really not fussed on cats in real life, but in books and on the internet, I love them little fuzzballs.
There’s really not much to say on this other than it’s good, really good stuff. One of those books that does everything it needs to, and does it all well. If you fancy a cozy mystery, you really can’t go wrong here 🙂

By Leann Sweeney
Cats In Trouble Mystery #6
Book Length: 280 pages
According to the Blurb:
When Clyde the cat travels two hundred miles back home only to find his former owner dead, the story makes national news. While everyone seems eager to tell Clyde’s incredible tale, someone needs to step up to care for him. Because the media attention is creating chaos at the local shelter, cat quilter Jillian Hart agrees to foster the loyal orange tabby, hoping his location is kept secret.
But while the media circus around Clyde continues, Jillian learns the real story behind his owner’s death – he was murdered. Why would an elderly man already dying from a serious illness become a murder victim? As the local police search for an answer, Clyde makes another escape. Jillian is drawn into the case when she finds Clyde has returned to his home again – and he’s found another body. When the motive behind these murders is finally revealed, Jillian understands Clyde is in danger of becoming the next victim, and she must help find the killer before the claws really come out…
