Vast year stretched ahead

In response to Ronovan Writes’ Weekly Haiku Challenge: Sing & Day
When the day drags on
I sing to keep completing
All these little chores.
Now around Christmas
They all seem to be endless
Keep calm, carry on.
In response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge: Bust & Must
I must do my best
Working hard, busting my gut,
Never been so fun.
At the end of this working week, I feel like I achieved a great deal. Although, having the Ekka show day off halfway through the week helped…
In response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge: Luck and Hope
Pick out a brownie
Trust in luck, hope for the best,
Macadamia!
Mum’s work got some ‘luxury chocolate brownies’ and she brought home a blue one and a white one. Luckily, the blue one was macadamia 😀
In response to Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge
Five days at a time
Just get through that working week
Thrive on the weekend
Mantra of so many
Must be nice to live to work
Like a fairy tale
Some get there, I know
Shouldn’t be so cynical
Let’s chase that passion.
In response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge
My dreams are my own.
Thought: the especial freedom
No one can steal yours.
Thank you Ronovan for another great prompt!
In response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge
Tell me I’m too loud,
Say I need to be silent,
You’ll just make me shout.
In response to Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge: Source & Thought
Longest time in thought,
Reflecting, meditating
Now we’ve reached the source.
What a nice, peaceful prompt for this week. Of course, I can’t help but think of it through the lens of an assignment. I’d spend roughly eighty percent of time reading, researching, and wrapping my head around the topic, then only twenty percent of time actually writing the thing. Still, it means that I’m learning something! Always a plus 🙂
In response to Ronovan Writes’ Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge: Want & Tatter
Don’t play with my wants,
Stretching me, destroying me,
Don’t tatter my heart.
In response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge: New & Time
Let the sun shine in
Let time pause for a moment
Let you be renewed
Good mood today. Taking a break from study; shall deal with consequences tomorrow.
